International Women’s Day Event

On March 8th, the U.S. Mexico Foundation and the Secretaría de Educación Pública del Estado de Puebla formalized the implementation of the third cycle of "Women in STEM, Future Leaders" program, benefiting 56 women from public high schools of Puebla, interested in studying a university career related to the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.


The Secretaria de Educación Pública of Puebla Patricia Vázquez, and the CEO of the U.S. Mexico Foundation Rebeca Vargas attended the event.
The generation 2017-2018 of "Women in STEM, Future Leaders" began its activities in October of last year and will end in July of 2018; During this period the 56 young students from Puebla have received personalized mentoring, online seminars on empowerment, communications, leadership and STEM areas, have interacted with other students who share the same interest and visited Universities and Companies.
