USMF Celebrates Completion of Women in STEM, Future Leaders 2016 2017

We are glad to announce that the Generation 2016 – 2017 concluded the program successfully with the summer abroad study program, which was held in July in the City of New York. The Ambassador Diego Gómez Pickering, Consul of Mexico in N.Y, welcomed them.

The participants had the opportunity to attend lectures related to the STEM areas and visited emblematic points of the City. They received workshops and conferences in Engineering, Architecture, Environment, Genetics and Robotics, among others.

An additional memorable impact of the program is the family reunification. This cycle five girls had the opportunity to reunite, during the Program’s study abroad summer with their fathers who they had not seen in more than a decade.

The Program concluded with the Graduation Ceremony, where the participants received diplomas of recognition.
