Miguel Solís

Miguel Solis currently serves as co-founder and president of the Latino Center for Leadership Development where he oversees the organization’s efforts to develop new political leaders and policy ideas for the Latino community. Solis’ professional experiences also include serving as a staff member on President Barack Obama’s historic 2008 presidential campaign, a Teach for America public school teacher, and Special Assistant to the  Superintendent of the Dallas Independent School District (Dallas ISD).  Miguel is involved in numerous non-profit activities including serving as chair of the Opportunity Dallas Housing Policy Task Force and as a participant in the American Council on Germany’s Young Leadership Conference, the Center for American Progress’ U.S.-Mexico Young Leaders Initiative, and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee’s Southwest Leaders Program.
