Enrique Perret is regional director for North America at ProMéxico, the government agency responsible for coordinating strategies to strengthen Mexico's position in the international economy. Previously, he was the spokesman and chief of staff for Mexico's National Banking and Exchange Commission. Perret's current role marks a return to ProMéxico. Before joining the National Banking and Exchange Commission, he was ProMéxico's trade commissioner in Chicago and held several other roles with the agency earlier in his career. Perret has a bachelor's in international commerce from the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey and a master's degree in economics and government from Anáhuac University. He also has completed executive courses at Harvard University and the Wharton School.
