With a career of over 20 years in Softtek, Blanca Treviño took the position of President and CEO in August 2000. Under her leadership, Softtek has become the largest private IT service provider in Latin America and has been recognized by industry analysts as the only non-Indian offshore IT service provider to pose serious competition for the U.S. market.
Blanca serves as Board member for various organizations and universities, including Walmart Mexico, The United States–Mexico Foundation for Science, University of Monterrey, and TecMilenio University. She is also an adviser to the Government of Nuevo Leon, her home state in Mexico. She was most recently listed among the top 10 Most Powerful Women in Mexico by Forbes Magazine, as a “Rising Star” in 2007 by Fortune Magazine’s “50 most powerful women in global business” issue, Treviño was also selected as the third most influential business woman in Mexico by CNN / Expansion in 2007 and 2008.
